Welcome to Redhog Wrestling Club

We are the front-runner Olympic wrestling club in Northern Ireland. Training is delivered by John O’Rawe, Northern Ireland’s National, Commonwealth and Talent Development Coach who has long experience coaching and as an international competitor.

His expertise has developed wrestlers to gain international status representing Great Britain. Skilled in the planning and training of athletes on an international pathway, successfully coached an athlete to gain a position on the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Team in 2010.

John has coached and trained with top American athletes and coaches in the U.S. and the finest Eastern European freestyle coaches and joined the Ukraine’s Olympic camp coaches at their international training centre ahead of the 2010 World Wrestling Championships.
